How to Use the Resolution Center
5 min readLast updated: January 1, 2026
The Resolution Center helps resolve disputes between clients and freelancers fairly.
When to Use the Resolution Center
Consider using the Resolution Center when:
- The delivered work doesn't match the order requirements
- There's a disagreement about revision requests
- The freelancer is unresponsive
- You need to cancel an order and can't reach agreement
- There's a payment or refund issue
Before Opening a Dispute
We recommend trying to resolve issues directly first:
- Message the other party to discuss the problem
- Be specific about what needs to change
- Give them reasonable time to respond (24-48 hours)
- Document everything through the order messaging system
Opening a Dispute
- Go to the order page
- Click "Resolution Center" in the order actions
- Select the issue type
- Describe the problem in detail
- Upload any supporting evidence (screenshots, files)
- Click "Submit Dispute"
Dispute Process
- Initial Review: Both parties can respond to the dispute
- Negotiation: Try to reach a mutual agreement
- Escalation: If no agreement, Armour Studios support steps in
- Resolution: A final decision is made based on evidence
Possible Outcomes
- Full Refund: Client receives complete refund
- Partial Refund: Agreed amount is refunded
- Order Completed: Payment released to freelancer
- Order Cancelled: Both parties agree to cancel
⚠️ Important: All communication about the dispute should happen through the Resolution Center, not private channels. This helps us make fair decisions.
