Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. Here's how to enable it:
Why Enable 2FA?
2FA protects your account even if someone discovers your password. You'll need both your password AND a verification code from your phone to sign in.
How to Enable 2FA
- Go to Settings then Security from your dashboard
- Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
- Download an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar)
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- Enter the 6-digit code from your app to verify
- Save your backup codes in a secure location
⚠️ Important: Store your backup codes securely! If you lose access to your authenticator app, backup codes are the only way to recover your account.
Signing In with 2FA
After enabling 2FA, you'll be prompted for a verification code each time you sign in:
- Enter your email and password as usual
- Open your authenticator app
- Enter the current 6-digit code
- Click "Verify" to complete sign-in
